Some friends of mine work odd jobs on people’s farms and what not while floating around to different countries and staying with different families.

I really want to travel or do missionary work, I’ve even applied to the peace corps but I have no money to do this on my own. I’ve considered hostels also but don’t know how to go about all this.

I can’t get a hold of my friends to ask how they are doing this. How can I get involved in something like this?

I’m basically looking to quit my job and do odd things for people in exchange for room and board all over the world.

Also they tease me about not doing the same things like going to concerts and buying fancy dinnerware sets…I just can’t afford to do that right now. We’re in our midtwenties and I’m really trying to be frugal right now and its a bit tough when I’m trying to do that and can’t afford much.
I’m really just trying to save as much as I can right now.
