What is the life of an insurance saleman like?

choosing insurance
have fun asked:

I wanted to join a “company” World Finance Group, part of AEGON. They say they will train me about life insurance and difference securities and how to recruit more employees and customers. So far the membership fees and background check is $100 ! They dont want to reveal how much of this100 goes to membership and how much goes to background check! So far I understand that they customer that I would have would be the people I know. I will use their offices at “any local representatives”, I will have to services the accounts of my customers, have them to choose the right investment, mostly life insurrance. Sound an interesting job. I learn business anyway. BUT this whole thing looks more like a scamp or not suitable for me at all! Pay for a membership and then go out and look for customer on my own. They dont reveal to me the average income of their employees, they dont really revea to me how much time and effort one should pay, and whether they would get any customer at all!
by the way the website is WorldFinanceGroup.com

Choosing Health Insurance?

choosing insurance
Gator asked:

Periodic Health Exam $35 Copay, No Charge after deductible
Outpatient Lab/X-Ray: No Charge after deductible
Deductable $4000/year

What Does “No Charge after deductible” mean?
Is this another way of saying “i pay full cost up to annual deductable”?
so if go to regular check-ups
doctors charges 150$ for visit
i pay 35$ for office visit. and let’s say i need labs that cost 100$

My total cost would be 35+100=135$?
or 150$+100$ = $250?

What is the difference between “Limited Benefits” Health Coverage and Health “Insurance”? ?

choosing insurance
dan asked:

My health coverage plan adamantly states that it is not “insurance”, it is a “limited health benefits” plan. Is there a legal reason why they choose these words instead of insurance, or is there an actual difference? More importantly, if I have “limited health benefits” instead of “insurance”, am i getting royally screwed?

I am starting my first job and must choose HRA, HSA, or Traditional health insurance. Which is best for me?

choosing insurance
osiris18m asked:

There are 2 different HRA plans. There is an HSA plan, as well as a Traditional plan. I am a 23 year old recent college grad male. I have no health problems and consider myself to be in extremely good shape. Based on these factors, can someone recommend which plan will be best for me? Thanks for your time!

Help choosing insurance?

choosing insurance
donny asked:

I was looking on ehealthinsurance.com for quotes on health insurance. This is for just me, since my boyfriend can get insurance though work at the moment. And i got quotes from 3 companies, CoventryOne, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Oklahoma, and UnitedHealth One. I need some opinions on which would be best.
Of those companies I’ve only heard of the blue cross one so i kinda started leaning that way. But there monthly is the largest. $294 a month, with $15 office visits, and a $200 deductible. and 20% coinsurance.
Next in line is CoventryOne with $25 office visits, and a $2500 deductible. and 20% coinsurance.
Then is UnitedHealthOne. With $35 office visit, and $2500 deductible, and 20% coinsurance.
Then there is another one from Coventry One, with no office visit after the $2,500 deductible. With 0% coinsurance

And there all PPO except for the Unitedhealth one is a network, which I’m not really sure i understand what this means, PPO is better right?

I don’t really plan on signing up though this website, I’m just trying to choose a company, then I’ll call and talk to them or something, I’m not sure. I’m just trying to get an idea what I’m looking for, any advice at all would be helpful!
